Upcoming Event: March Mitzvah Madness
Join the Tribe for two mitzvah filled days next month. Sunday, March 14 the Tribe will join Temple Beth Sholom’s annual Mitzvah Day and help serve food to the homeless at the Miami Rescue Mission. One week later on Sunday, March 21, the Tribe will meet at Watson Island for a Celebrity 5K benefitting the Community Partnership for the Homeless. See the flyer below for details and rsvp info.
Photo Recap: Wine Tasting Potluck in the Grove
On Saturday, Jan 23, about 40 Tribe members gathered at the beautiful home of Brian Morrison to enjoy each other’s company and about 20 bottles of wine (we didn’t finish them all!). Wine tasting in the Grove. Sounds so California. But, as one Tribe member commented: “It’s days like this when I love living in Miami.” When the time was right, we had a brief Havdalah service and wishes each other a “Shavu’a Tov.” Friends, cheese and wine: what better way to spend two hours on a Saturday evening? On Dec 10, The Open Tent partnered with Birthright Israel to present a Hanukkah Soiree at South Beach’s Burger & Beer. Highlights included performances by Michelle Citrin and Jacob Jeffries, an open bar and Hanukkah nibbles. Relive the fun with the photo recap below.
