Blessing of a Skinned Knee Discussion Group
Beginning Wednesday, January 13 join Rabbi Gayle Pomerantz for a four-part parenting discussion series revolving around the Jewish classic, The Blessing of a Skinned Knee. All sessions run from 9:15-10:15, see flyer below for details.
There are four sessions of Shalom Tots. Parents and children are invited to attend all four sessions, unless otherwise noted. We hope you are able to attend each session, but if not, you can attend however many are convenient for your family. There is no charge to attend, but please RSVP a week in advance. Stay tuned for the dates for our next session and see below for details on our past Shalom Tots session.
Session 1 Challah Making and Story time with PJ Library

Families are invited to join together in a challah making session and story time with PJ Library. Parents and children will learn the significance of challah bread. Jenni Person from PJ Library will share a special Challah story with all of you.
Session 2 Conscious Discipline Workshop with Mindy Becker (PARENTS ONLY)

Please join Mindy Becker of Auntie M’s to the Rescue! LLC for a 2-hour workshop on Conscious Discipline. You will gain insight on how our state of mind affects our behaviors, understand the benefits of a love-based discipline and negative effects of a fear-based discipline, and leave with parenting techniques you can implement.
Session 3 “What Should you feed your Kids?” with Nutrionist Ronni Julien

Session 4 Tot Shabbat and Talk with Rabbi Davis
