Yaroq: A Jewish CSA
Are you tired of the limited options you have at the market? Do you wish you could do more to invest in the environment? Would you like to support local farmers? If the answer to any of these questions is yes, you may be interested in being a part of a new and exciting CSA (Community Supported Agricultural Initiative) sponsored by The Open Tent and Temple Beth Sholom.
A CSA is a group of like-minded people who commit to purchase a season of produce from an organic family farm. Farm Fresh Miami will be delivering the produce to Temple Beth Sholom (4144 Chase Ave., Miami Beach, FL 33140) twice a month. Members of the CSA will be invited to free wholesome cooking classes, and other opportunities for learning. Yaroq is working with the national Jewish organization Hazon, which is promoting Jewish CSA’s throughout the country. Yaroq is the first Jewish CSA in Florida!
