About ARTS inside the Open Tent

Arts Inside the Open Tent brings to Miami a season full of groundbreaking performance, visual, literary and media arts experiences all rooted in Jewish tradition, practice, culture and/or text.

Coming soon! Come Saturday, March 13, discover why this night is different from all other nights as the Open Tent and ArtCenter/South Florida present Seder as Art. Artists will re-interpret Passover traditions and display t heir work at the Moore Building from 7-10 pm. See flyer below for details and click here for info about last year’s Seder as Art.

Our first season included a night at a hip nightclub where we brought in San Francisco Artist Amy Tobin and her rock-opera version of the Purim Story, while the audience sipped “Dirty Hamans” and “Esthertinis.” Last season we presented, amongst several cool programs, renowned Klezmer artist Frank London in Flamingo Park, who jammed with some local Miami artists while fans and Sunday passerbys enjoyed great, free music under the warm sun.

We have written more about our past seasons in our blog – check it out!
